Leticia Colombia

Leticia is the southernmost city in the Republic of Colombia, the capital of the Amazonas department, and one of the major ports on the Amazon River. It sits at an elevation of 96 meters (315 feet) above sea level and has an average temperature of 27 °C (81 °F). Leticia has long served as Colombia’s main shipping point for tropical fish in the aquarium trade. The city is located where Colombia, Brazil, and Peru meet, in an area known as Tres Fronteras (Three Borders).
