Leticia Colombia

Leticia is the southernmost city in the Republic of Colombia, the capital of the Amazonas department, and one of the main ports on the Amazon River. It sits at an elevation of 96 metres above sea level and has an average temperature of 27 °C. Leticia has long served as Colombia’s main shipping point for tropical fish for the aquarium trade. It is located where Colombia, Brazil and Peru meet, in an area known as Tres Fronteras (Three Borders).
