Situated on the Atlantic coast, Casablanca is the biggest city and the economic hub of Morocco. Casablanca is a modern city with bustling boulevards and numerous street cafes that give it a distinctly European feel. Casablanca is a mix of both tradition and modernity. Visitors will encounter traditional buildings of Moorish, Roman, Jewish, Spanish and French influence alongside the new modern skyscrapers. While the city is quite modern by Moroccan standards, there are many historical sites and striking white colonial architecture. The oldest part of the city, the medina, is relatively small compared to other medinas in Morocco, but still worth a wander around its narrow lanes. Near the Medina you'll find the City Hall, which boasts beautifully carved roofs. Casablanca's main attraction is the King Hassan II Mosque. Located in a stunning setting on the Atlantic Coast, it's the largest mosque in Morocco and the third largest in the world, with the tallest minaret in the world. A visit to Casablanca is a must for many travellers who come to Morocco. Oriental yet modern, Casablanca is a city of many faces.

Barcelona is a city on the coast of northeastern Spain. It's the capital and biggest city of the autonomous community of Catalonia, as well as the second most populous municipality of Spain. With a population of 1.6 million within city limits, its urban area extends to numerous neighbouring municipalities within the Province of Barcelona and is home to around 4.8 million people, making it the fifth most populous urban area in the European Union after Paris, the Ruhr area, Madrid, and Milan. It's one of the largest metropolises on the Mediterranean Sea, located on the coast between the mouths of the rivers Llobregat and Besòs, and bounded to the west by the Serra de Collserola mountain range, the tallest peak of which is 512 metres (1,680 feet) high.
