Mutters Austria

Mutters is a municipality in the Innsbruck-Land district in the Austrian state of Tyrol, located about 4.7 km (3 miles) south of Innsbruck. The village was first recorded in 1100, although settlement in the area began roughly 3,000 years ago. Mutters was linked to Innsbruck by the Stubai Valley Railway (Stubaitalbahn) in 1904. The Muttereralmbahn is a cable car system that starts in Mutters.
