Puerto Iguazú is a small town located in the Misiones province in the northwest part of Argentina. The bus terminal to get to the Iguazú National Park is 5-10 minutes from the centre. At night, the city centre is quite lively, especially on Friday and Saturday night. Iguazú National Park contains one of the greatest natural beauties of Argentina, the magnificent Iguazú Falls, surrounded by a subtropical forest. The park has great natural importance and ecological wealth. Both sites were declared World Heritage Sites by UNESCO, in 1984.
